Option I – Mostly Non-Salable Products, Will Cost you to Remove and Recycle

  • Determine the Assets Client will reuse, and which Assets are to Recycle
  • Recycle the non-salable Assets sustainably with a target goal of 90% diverted tonnage
  • Coordinate disassembly of all product and removal from the site, including labor and trucking
  • Walk-through site areas with Client to ensure all Assets have been removed

Option II – Salable and Non-Salable Products, Possible Monetary Credit

  • Determine the FF&E assets the client will reuse, and which assets are salable vs. non-salable
  • Assign fair market and broker values to the bulk inventory assets
  • Attempt to sell the salable assets to generate a possible monetary credit for client
  • Recycle the non-salable Assets sustainably with a target goal of 90% diverted tonnage
  • Coordinate disassembly of all product and removal from the site, including labor and trucking
  • Walk-through site areas with Client to ensure all Assets have been removed
Client FF&E Relocation Process

As an educated Client or a Project Manager knows, it is always best to pull together a well experienced team of experts as a partner in the process. But be careful to not place the proverbial “cart before the horse”, example – you need to maximize your bulk furniture assets for value and efficiencies.  What does that mean?

There is a very good chance that a portion of your furniture has value and can be sold, whereas the buyers may pay for removal of the product. So make sure you hire the mover AFTER the furniture’s fate has been determined by your team.
